What do we mean by “trauma”?

SafeArt is a progressive non-profit organization that offers individual and group healing sessions, original performances, creative workshops, residencies, and leadership training all designed to educate, to inspire and heal people and their communities.

Our programs include SafeArt Ensemble Performances, Residencies, Healing Arts for Women Groups, Dancing Women Healing Spirits Groups, Looking Inward Speaking Out (LISO) Teen Groups, After School Art and Summer Camps for Children, Adult Artist-Youth Mentorships, Individual/Group Tracing Sessions, and Making SafeArt Workshops.

Our publications include: On Our Way…: An Anthology of SafeArt Writing 2000-2010 and A Curriculum of Courage: Making SafeArt.
